Q 11: What is the benefit of ARCEL® Foam?

A: ARCEL® foam is a high-performance foam using a blend of both Polyethylene and Polystyrene. ARCEL provides the best of both polymers allowing it to have exceptional toughness, flexibility and durability in a lightweight foam. The lightweight construction is resilient to puncture, flaking, tearing and breaking. All of these benefits can be felt and seen in the quality of the ClimaTrek bulkhead.

Q 12: When would I use a Z-shaped configuration bulkhead?

A: The Z-shaped configuration is used when you have an odd number of pallets that need to be separated between temperature zones. The single panel that is used can easily be stored against the trailer wall when necessary to return to a traditional bi-fold bulkhead application.

Q 13: How do you store the single filler panel when it is not being used in the Z-shaped configuration?

A: The TBH Filler Panel (TBHFP) comes standard with innovative magnets that, when e-track is present, allow you to store the panel against the steel e-track. When e-track is not present it can be stored against the wall using a load lock or off the trailer near the dock.

Q 14: Is your Universal Center Hinge standard on all of your bulkheads?

A: Yes, the ClimaTrek Universal Center Hinge is standard on all TBH bulkheads. It provides access either in or out allowing you the greatest flexibility in your trailer when using your TBH. This is typically seen as an upgrade on competitive models.

Q 15: Can I get a vent with a ClimaTrek bulkhead?

A: Yes, when required, a vent is an option that can be installed in the TBH. This allows the ability to control frozen airflow into the cooler zone and help regulate the temperature when a remote evaporator is not present.

Q 16: Is the HMWPE skid plate standard?

A: Yes, ClimaTrek bulkheads come standard with a 1/8” thick x 12” high HMWPE molded skid plate to withstand harsh environments and extend the life of the bulkhead.

Q 17: Is the fabric that you use anti-microbial?

A: Yes, ClimaTrek bulkheads are made with 18 oz. anti-microbial vinyl fabric.

Q 18: What is the panel thickness?

A: 2.5 inches.

Q 19: Can the ClimaTrek bulkhead be used with E, F & A track?

A: Yes, the straps can be ordered with E, F or A type clips.

Q 20: What have you done to allow for the panel to be so light?

A: With the use of the ARCEL foam and limiting the amount of metal hardware used, we have strived to make the lightest panel possible to make it easier on all users.
